About the Role

As a Cyber Security Analyst, you’ll join our join our dynamic protect & defend teams. You’ll work across both high technical and specialised teams to ensure you’ll develop in a rounded cyber security role and relevant training. As an analyst you’ll get the opportunity to work within our cyber security operations teams such as our Security Operations Centre and our Incident Response team, alongside areas such as Cyber Architecture.

You’ll get stuck into:

  • Assisting in the Secure by Design team, ensuring all IT activities are built, designed, and managed securely.
  • Monitoring our IT estate for cyber security alerts and respond to them in a timely manner.
  • Working alongside our engineering teams to better tune and maintain our security tooling.
  • Participating in troubleshooting and resolving security issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.
  • Working with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver security solutions that meet business needs.
  • Staying up to date with the latest technologies and best practices, continuously improving your skills and knowledge.

About You

For you to thrive as an analyst, you’ll need to have a basic understanding of cyber security concepts and services. Your communication skills will need to be excellent, with a real willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. We’d love to hear about any relevant cyber security qualification you may have, so be sure to include these in your cover letter.

What youll need

You’ll need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant area. It could any anything related to:

  • Cyber Security
  • Computer Science
  • Information Technology

Additional Qualifications:

  • Any relevant cyber security qualifications
  • Previous internships or work experience in cybersecurity would be advantageous

You'll need to have permanent right to work in the UK for the entirety of this programme, as we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.

This role works closely with the UK Critical National Infrastructure, so requires National Security Vetting. This means that you can’t have a criminal record and in the last 5 years you can’t have been out of the UK for cumulatively 6 months or greater.

In return, you’ll receive a range of benefits that reward your great work. Your starting annual salary will be £34,646, plus a bonus scheme and a welcome payment of £2000. You'll receive a generous holiday allowance with the option to buy and sell additional days.

As part of our Hybrid working approach, your time will be split between office days, site visits and working from home.

You'll start in a large cohort of other graduates and apprentices, where you'll attend an in person induction in September 2025, fostering strong workplace relationships that will build the foundation of your future networks.
