About the Role

As a graduate analyst you’ll join our security team, where you’ll be responsible for supporting the governance, risk management, compliance (GRC), and assurance functions within our organisation’s security program. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates who are passionate about risk and security, and eager to develop a strong foundation in Security GRC practices.

You’ll get stuck into:

  • Governance: Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure they align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Risk Management: Participate in conducting risk assessments, identifying security risks, and supporting the implementation of mitigation strategies.
  • Compliance: Help monitor and ensure adherence to various compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIS, CAF ) and regulatory standards, assisting with internal and external audits.
  • Assurance: Support assurance activities by helping to evaluate and test security controls to ensure they are operating effectively and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for policies, risk assessments, compliance reports, and audit findings.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other teams such as IT, legal, and operations to ensure security requirements are understood and implemented across the organisation.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay informed of the latest industry trends, regulations, and emerging threats in cybersecurity to support the evolution of the GRC function.

About You

For you to thrive as an analyst, you’ll need to be detail oriented, have strong analytical skills and enjoy problem-solving. We’re looking for someone highly motivated, you’ll need to be able to manage multiple tasks in a collaborative environment.

You’ll be conducting high-quality preliminary research an analysis so should be able to work independently and proactively.  Your strong communication skills, both verbal and written will be excellent, meaning you can communicate difficult issues in a concise manner to the wider security team.

What youll need

You’ll need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant area. It could any anything related to:

  • Security
  • Information Security
  • Risk Management
  • Information Technology

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, ISO 27001 Foundation, or any related GRC certifications are an advantage.
  • Previous internships or work experience in cybersecurity, IT, or compliance is desirable.

You'll need to have permanent right to work in the UK for the entirety of this programme, as we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.

This role works closely with the UK Critical National Infrastructure, so requires National Security Vetting. This means that you can’t have a criminal record and in the last 5 years you can’t have been out of the UK for cumulatively 6 months or greater.

In return, you’ll receive a range of benefits that reward your great work. Your starting annual salary will be £34,646, plus a bonus scheme and a welcome payment of £2000. You'll receive a generous holiday allowance with the option to buy and sell additional days.

As part of our Hybrid working approach, your time will be split between office days, site visits and working from home.

You'll start in a large cohort of other graduates and apprentices, where you'll attend an in person induction in September 2025, fostering strong workplace relationships that will build the foundation of your future networks.
