About the role
- Monitoring of bank balances and the preparation of payment instructions for the settlement of expenses, investment drawdowns and investor distributions
- Assistance with any foreign exchange conversions
- The completion of monthly/quarterly cash reconciliations and transaction monitoring
- Assist with company secretarial matters including, board meeting preparation, the drafting of notices, agendas, board packs, minutes of meetings, and the updating of entity statutory registers
- Updating relevant trackers such as the minutes and ratification logs
- Assist with the preparation of statutory and regulatory filings
- Assist with the ongoing data input of data into relevant fund administration systems
- The preparation of internal checklists to ensure relevant Mourant policies and procedures are being correctly followed
- Support the administration team with fund transactions including, investor closings, drawdowns, distributions, transfers of interest and investment acquisitions / divestments
- Assisting the team with new investor onboarding procedures including a first review of Know Your Client documents, compliance background checks and Google searches
- The drafting of emails in response to client queries and requests
- Liaising with other internal Mourant teams (legal, compliance etc) and other external intermediaries
- Assistance with the electronic filing of client documents onto our document management system, ensuring that record keeping procedures are followed
- Attendance at relevant training sessions, provided to ensure that you satisfy your continual professional development requirements each year
- Any other aspects of the ongoing administration of client entities, delivering excellent client services levels at all times
