Together with our clients, we’re helping to deliver the energy transition globally.
At Mott MacDonald we perform a wide range of services in the hydropower and pumped storage sectors, which is reflected in this role. You’ll support the wider team in the delivery of hydropower projects, including technical due diligence services for lenders, investors and developers; technical studies including pre-feasibility; feasibility studies and FEED studies; and the review and preparation of designs and specifications. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team whilst organising, planning and managing your own work. Our technical specialists work together to provide integrated solutions to the highest standards across engineering, climate resilience, environmental and social sustainability. As a company our focus is on achieving positive social outcomes in everything we do.
We of course take our projects very seriously, attention to detail is paramount. You will have access to world class support and resources. Our systems provide a framework to ensure we’re always working safely to best practise and driving innovation, sustainability and connected thinking.
As a graduate mechanical engineer in the hydropower team your job will be varied and include both technical and project management tasks. You will work across a number of projects, providing support to the team and taking responsibility for your assigned work. In addition to project work, you will also support the team in preparation of proposals to help win new work.
The job will be primarily focused on hydropower, however as part of the wider energy business there will be opportunities to work in other generation technologies from time to time.
You will be part of the mechanical engineering team and report to the hydropower resourcing manager / E&M team leader.
Ideally you will be willing to travel short and long term. For this role you will need to be fluent in English and Serbian, and French or Spanish language capability is desirable.
