You will be a vital part of the single largest account within the Momentum UK business. Not only that but, within the American Express Team, you will be managing and supporting high profile activations, events, and partnerships, with the chance to significantly impact on the agency’s revenue streams. You will work with a highly-motivated team and have access to all departments within the business – here in London, in Manchester and New York City.
The role may technically be ‘Client Services’ but it is so much more than that. No day (or hour) is the same and you’ll be across every element of your projects meaning the work will be varied, challenging and fulfilling.

Momentum work with American Express across a wide plethora of events across the team, from managing their activations as the official credit card partner of The Championships, Wimbledon to other cultural events such as Somerset House Summer Series, BST Hyde Park to an array of the busiest venues in UK and Europe. These properties allow American Express to help fans and Cardmembers redefine the way they experience events – whether facilitating presale hospitality access, elevating onsite experiences in meaningful ways, innovating Cardmember payment experiences, or bringing fans closer to the artists they love.
Momentum is responsible for the Strategic Direction, Creative Development, Design, Production, Execution and Delivery across all physical and virtual events and the Account Executive, based in London, will provide vital team support. This role is focused on music festivals and as Account Executive, you will support the team across BST Hyde Park and All Points East Festival.
You will work closely with Account Directors, Senior Account Managers and Account Managers to ensure the team are set up for success to deliver both festivals in line with Amex’s objectives. You will also work closely with the American Express client contacts and partners.
This role requires someone who is enthusiastic and has a can-do attitude along with a willingness to jump in and support across the team. In short, this is an incredible opportunity for a dynamic and driven individual to work on the agency’s flagship account, and specifically on a world-class, globally renowned property.

Responsibilities
- Supporting the delivery of BST Hyde Park and All Points East Festival
- Assisting with Strategy, Creative, Design phases of the projects.
- Managing internal and client weekly status documents
- Managing meeting Agendas & Minutes
- Creating presentation decks for Clients, partners and for internal usage
- Team administration
- Amex market communications across the partnerships
- Supporting across all phases of the delivery of all Amex event activations
- Supporting with time reconciliations and finance administration which includes pulling relevant reports to manage agency time and budgets
- Building and maintaining relationships with key clients in the UK
- Reporting directly into the Senior Account Manager/Account Manager, American Express, but with a dotted line into the Account Director, American Express.

Our Account Executive roles are aimed at those looking to build on initial experience within an agency or get their foot on the ladder for the first time. You may be working in your first agency role, have recently graduated / completed a Marketing apprenticeship or internship, or be looking for a career change – whatever your background, we’d love to hear from you. The key things we’ll be looking for you to demonstrate are:
- Agency experience is preferred, but not essential
- A passion for music and entertainment
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships within the team but also with clients, partners and agency colleagues
- Good time management and prioritisation skills
- A trustworthy and hardworking team member
- A can-do attitude and a willingness to take on any task
- Capable of learning quickly and applying learnings/best practices to future tasks
- Ability to juggle a number of tasks simultaneously and consistently to deliver high quality work to tight deadlines and when under pressure
- Strong organisation skills, with excellent attention to detail
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Strong IT skills including Excel & PowerPoint
- Polished, professional demeanour, projects confidence and enthusiasm for the business
- Flexibility to work outside of your core hours and on weekends when working across BST Hyde Park and All Points East
