The role
We are currently offering opportunities for Chemical or Process Engineering students to join us for a summer placement at our Mitsubishi Chemical Methacrylates Strategic Projects Group on Teesside, in the North East of England.
What's in it for you
This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience working alongside our process engineers and R&D team at Wilton. This will involve working on exciting strategic projects in areas such as design, on the pilot plant and in the laboratory.
You will develop your knowledge and work on real issues. We provide a supervisor to help and guide you during this work placement. You will be challenged and stretched whilst gaining invaluable experience to set you on your chosen career path.

The skills we're looking for
- You are an undergraduate in chemical or process engineering, expecting at least a 2:1
- A Master's degree course is strongly preferred
- You have completed a minimum of 2 years of your undergraduate degree but will not have graduated prior to the start of your placement
- You are a passionate individual who want to pursue their engineering career in the chemical industry
- You are motivated and committed with a strong team ethic
- You are able to demonstrate a high degree of personal accountability

What we offer
This is a paid summer internship working 7:50 hours per day over a 12 – 14 week period.
