The graduate role will be across three years and you will get exposure across multiple projects in the business, including:
- Formula 1 Product Design & Engineering;
- Business Operations & Investment;
- Advanced Technology (Automotive) & AMG ONE
You will also be enrolled in the ICAEW ACA training program which you will complete during your graduate scheme.
When completing the graduate scheme you will
- Work closely with the respective Programme Management to provide product costing updates and budget implications based on the latest Engineering changes;
- Work across different functional areas and develop your costing skills by tracking, analysing and reporting detailed weekly cost variances to senior stakeholders and perform detailed analysis to find the underlying drivers, trends and forecast of future powertrain costs;
- Maintain the company consolidation tools and company budgets;
- Support with the company’s business operations & investment team including month end tasks and work alongside business partners;
- Prepare weekly and monthly KPIs, ratio analysis and support with accruals and prepayments;
- Support with the company’s month end / year end tasks, including supporting audit documentation.
The candidate
Qualifications
- Achieved a First or 2:1, in a (or combination of) Accounting, Finance, Economics, Maths, Physics or other numerate degree;
- A strong academic background in relevant A Level disciplines, for example maths or sciences (or equivalent qualifications).

- Supporting stakeholders in identifying countermeasures to address issues which pose a risk or opportunity to the programme budgets
- Supporting business partners with a view to evolving and improving business processes with a particular focus on cost accuracy, increasing financial transparency and improving the efficiency of management reporting;
- Providing ad-hoc financial analysis of programme spending to senior stakeholders as and when required;
- Report writing to non-financial stakeholders;
- Influencing and challenging senior stakeholders;
- Fp&a.
