The first step in your career in Executive Reward is as a Graduate Analyst. Graduate Analysts work with a broad range of clients and industries, participating as a member of project teams to diagnose issues and design strategic solutions.

Mercer’s Executive Reward Consultants focus on providing high-quality, tailored, and independent consulting advice on remuneration and their advice is relied upon at the highest levels of corporate decision making, including the Board of Directors and C-Suite executives for companies in the UK and beyond. Executive Reward Consultants are analytical and creative collaborators who diagnose client issues and assist in designing executive remuneration solutions for Remuneration Committees and management, in collaboration with our Reward team which delivers solutions for the wider workforce.

We will rely on you to

  • Provide quantitative and qualitative analytical support to senior consultants and project teams
  • Conduct research and analysis to understand industry and organisation-specific issues, including business strategy, corporate performance, compensation and rewards practices and trends
  • Analyse clients' strategic, financial, and organisational information to provide insights that will develop into strategies and solutions for their executives
  • Perform financial analyses of industry sectors and client peer groups
  • Collaborate with project teams to determine and execute the most effective ways to structure analyses and present information to meet client objectives
  • Prepare client presentations and presenting to boards of directors, senior executives, and HR leaders

What you need to have

  • To be eligible for this position, you must be on track to achieve or have already achieved a minimum of a 2:2 in your degree discipline.
  • Right to Work in the UK (we are unable to provide Visa sponsorship for this role)

  • Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office—Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
