The Role
There is no better way to experience what a career at MarketAxess has to offer than through our 9-week internship programme. As a 2025 Summer Intern within the Research team you will:
· Partner with the MarketAxess Sales team to deliver tailored data insights that enhance trading execution for clients and dealers.
· Analyse bond market activity and market micro-structure trends, including MarketAxess’ proprietary data.
· Develop new models and reports.
How You’ll Take Us There
· Create and maintain presentation materials for internal and external meetings.
· Champion business growth with state-of-the-art analytics.
· Expand and refine our quantitative trading solutions.
What We’re Looking for
· Hold an undergraduate or masters’ degree in a quantitative field (science, engineering, mathematics, finance, or statistics is preferred).
· Solid quantitative and analytical skills.
· Good querying / programming capabilities including R/Python, SQL.
· Understanding of fixed income markets.
· Must be graduating in Summer 2026, hence should be in their penultimate year of study.
· Superb interpersonal and communication skills.
· Highly analytical, flexible, team-oriented, and creative problem solver.
· Strong data capabilities, including working with complex datasets.
· English (to a high/professional standard)
