We are currently seeking a Visual Merchandising Intern to be part of our beautiful flagship boutique in New Bond Street, London. This role is a full-time 6 month fixed-term contract, 40 hours per week, typical hours being 7am to 4pm. Must be available to start on the 6 th of January 2025, have Monday to Sunday flexibility and work nights.
The successful candidate will report to the VM Management team and take a supporting role on all VM activities.
Job responsibilities
- To assist the Visual Merchandiser in the boutique when changing the displays.
- To be able to re-merchandise selected areas independently (following training by the Visual Merchandiser).
- To take care of the image of the boutique daily: to visit the boutique in the morning, enforcing and overseeing product replenishment daily and to check if the highest standards of housekeeping are respected.
Events
- To be involved in the creative process of events layout.
- To support the setup of all promotional events, trunk show, show room presentations etc.
- Overnight work would be required (up to midnight) and transportation provided at the end of the installation.
Administrative support
- To be responsible and follow-on administration tasks assigned.
- To complete inventory and management of the props areas in stores to be tidy and maintained.
- To take pictures of the stores and create books to send to Paris when required.
About you
- Retail, visual merchandising or creative experience.
- Strong administration and organisation skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive problem solving and critical thinking.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and always remain adaptable.
- Attentive to details and appreciation of luxury goods market.
- Flexible with willingness to participate in all activities (from lifting and moving boxes to working late hours when dressing windows).
