The Receptionist internship is an opportunity to gain work experience in a Fashion House in London and to support the different departments at the Head Office.

Responsibilities

The intern will be supporting and working alongside the Executive Assistant to the General Manager, the duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

Reception

  • Meeting, greeting, and attending to the needs of guests, ensuring the relevant person is notified of their arrival.
  • Monitor entry of reception and ensure all visitors are assisted in a timely manner.
  • Coordination of deliveries and courier collections, including internal courier between boutiques and Head Office.
  • Arrange Taxi bookings for team members.
  • Organise and maintain office supplies.
  • Maintain the office to excellent conditions as per Christian Dior standards.
  • Holiday cover when Office Co-Ordinator is on annual leave.
  • Work alongside Office Co-Ordinator for meeting room coordination and setup for meetings and events, ensuring that rooms are always kept to a high standard.
  • Monitor Reception Inbox and distribute to relevant departments.
  • Receive and distribute all post, as well as arranging outgoing documents.
  • Keep Head Office and store contact list up to date as well as email distribution lists.
  • Ad-hoc admin support

Press

  • Magazine tabbing & distribution
  • Arranging all Press couriers & bike messengers, ensuring all press deliveries are logged and collected in a timely manner.

Profile

  • Strong organisation skills
  • Demonstrating dynamism
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Previous experience working as a receptionist (desired)
  • English & Maths GCSEs and/or A level Equivalent

Additional information

  • Must be able to work full-time (40 hours per week)
  • Hours: 09:00-18:00/08:00-17:00 based fully at the Head Office.
  • Must be able to start by Mid/End of December 2024
