What you’ll learn
Start with a bootcamp to quickly get you up to speed with our Group and how Data Science and Analytics will play a vital for our future, then over the two years you’ll rotate through three eight-month placements within teams across the Group. You’ll experience agile ways of working, play to your strengths, and grow beyond them with training and networking that’s tailored to your needs and interests.
You’ll be matched up with a buddy or mentor to support you and offer guidance throughout the scheme, and you’ll have access to technical and business-aligned training, including platforms such as Viva Learning and other Learning Management Systems, to further help your development.

Data Science
- Design and build machine learning algorithms and cutting-edge AI solutions. Combine coding, stats, and business savvy to change the way we do things.
Data Engineering
- Use top-tier tech to build data pipelines. Learn and control Cloud environments and lay the groundwork for great analytics and data science.
Data Analytics and Visualisation
- Uncover patterns and extract insights. Present valuable information with compelling data visualisations and enterprise BI tools.
The Work You Could Be Doing
- Using advanced statistical or machine learning techniques to tackle problems like fraud detection, credit risk modelling, customer segmentation, or language modelling.
- Building pipelines and processes to transform data for analytics and data science.
- Developing innovative self-service analytics solutions for quick decision making.
Is this for you?
Requirements:
- A 2:2 degree or above in any subject area from any university.
- Students with a PhD or Masters degree are also welcome. Note: we cannot sponsor visas.
- Knowledge of analytical techniques and experience in manipulating and deriving insight from data. Python coding experience, knowledge of SQL and the ability to use statistical modelling techniques would be beneficial.

Locations
This programme operates in various UK regional locations including London, Edinburgh, Northwest (Manchester/Chester/Cheadle), Southwest (Bristol/Cardiff) and West Yorkshire (Leeds/Halifax) regions. You’ll select one of these regional locations and will be based in various offices for the duration of your programme. We support hybrid working, with all colleagues expected to spend a minimum of two days each week in the office you have been placed.
