Your role and responsibilities

The successful candidate would be working alongside our team of RVNs, student veterinary nurses and veterinary care assistants to deliver gold standard veterinary care to our patients.

The purpose of this position is to serve as a member of the nursing team, specifically undertaking nursing consults for the primary care clients and where appropriate, other hospital departments.

You will work closely with the primary care veterinary team to provide a gold standard nurse consulting clinic for our primary care clients as well as working with the multidisciplinary team to assist them with the surgical and medical hospital caseload by undertaking theatre work for surgical cases as well as assisting with inpatient care for hospitalised patients.

Nursing consults will be conducted and managed using the practice management systems consulting list.

As with every role within the practice, exceptionally high standards of patient and client care are to be maintained at all times.

This is an ideal chance for keen individuals to work in one of the UK's leading referral centres and develop their nursing skills. Experience of working in a referral environment is not required as full support and training will be provided for the successful candidates.
