The 12-month anaesthesia internship programme provides an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated veterinarian to receive high-quality postgraduate training in small animal anaesthesia and analgesia under the supervision of an experienced team of 4 ECVAA Diplomates and 1 board eligible anaesthetist. The emphasis of the programme is on gaining practical clinical experience in small animal anaesthesia.

The successful Intern will be working together in a multi-disciplinary team of specialists (including medicine, surgery, neurology and oncology). Have exposure to a large caseload including anaesthetic management of routine referral cases and emergencies. You will be expected to take part in the out of hours rota under close supervision of one of the senior anaesthetist (1 in 4 or 1 in 5 on-call weekends).

This is a great opportunity for someone interested in furthering their anaesthesia career, and wishing to seek a residency programme afterwards.
