What to expect

As a member of our finance development scheme, you'll play a crucial role in our team, handling finance functions for Liberty Global and its partners. This opportunity not only offers hands-on experience but also provides the chance to pursue an ACCA or CIMA qualification through our development program.

What will you be doing

  • Conduct month-end accounting tasks, including journal preparation and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Perform data processing activities such as raising invoices and conducting bank reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act).
  • Participate in stretch projects to support development and team objectives.

During the programme, you’ll build a core understanding of our strategy and operations across different territories and markets, and experience different roles to help accelerate your growth. Over three years you’ll rotate through different teams across Accounting Operations, giving you a taste for a variety of potential career paths you may choose to follow.

 What we look for 

We’re looking for graduates with an analytical approach, who are high-reaching and keen to pursue a career in finance. We want to see your results-led approach, your confidence in pushing the boundaries and a flair for creative problem solving. We want our successful graduate candidates to be:

  • Recent university graduates or equivalent (minimum 2:1).We’re open to all degrees, as long as you have a passion for finance and accounting.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Fluency in additional European languages, including French, German or Dutch would be desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
