A truly exciting opportunity has arisen to join our LEGO® Retail Finance team for a period of around 12 months. We are looking for a highly driven, curious, and analytical individual with a passion for numbers and data. Come and join us at the LEGO Group.

Core responsibilities

Play a pivotal role in supporting the marketing team:

  • Act as the go-to person and own the data inside the marketing budget; Work closely with teams to ensure that budgets are updated frequently and accurately.
  • Assist with queries on the systems and tools used.
  • Perform journals monthly as part of the month end process.
  • Drive accountability with POs and reduce the occurrence of unidentified costs.
  • Lead monthly drop-in sessions to address questions related to the budget process.
  • Conduct budget system training sessions for new starters.
  • In addition you will be key project support for the LEGO® Retail Finance team:
  • Supporting on Adhoc activities e.g. digitization of stores reporting
  • Help drive the digitalization of Finance in 2022 and build at least one key financial report in an efficient and business-focused way.

The LEGO® Retail Finance team consists of 14 colleagues based across Europe, China and the US.

The Global LEGO® Retail business is responsible for Direct-to-Consumer Channels (E-comm and stores), Retail Development, Travel Retail and Model Production

Do you have what it takes?

  • Working towards a bachelor’s or Master’s degree and hold strong numerical A levels ( or equivalent) .
  • Be a good communicator and confident with presentations.
  • Have strong organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and perform multiple tasks optimally.
  • Be familiar with MS Excel (e.g., pivot tables, look-ups, macros, etc.) and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Fluent English – C2
