What is CBI?
CBI or Consumer Business Intelligence is the function that explores and generates the insights on consumer and/or shopper views and behaviours, that feed business decision-making at Kenvue.
Our function is comprised of Shopper, Consumer and Analytics insights specialists who run research to harness a wealth of data and insight to answer business questions for the Marketing team, Category Management team and Leadership/the wider business. We answer questions such as:
- What are the trends that will impact Kenvue’s brands, categories and the retail landscape in the future?
- What’s driving the current performance of our brands/ our newly launched products?
- What’s the impact of macro trends on our brand/category performance (eg, the cost of living crisis, the pandemic)
- Which claim is the best one to use when I advertise my product?
- How many consumers would be interested in the idea that I have for a new product/service/campaign?
- Which of these options for my instore display is the best one?
- How do shoppers shop my category? How should it be laid out as a result?
- Where do consumers see/engage with our brands and how should we think about our investment decisions as a result?
