KBR’s global business comprises two main segments – Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) and Government Solutions (GS). This role sits within STS in the Integrated Solutions business unit. Integrated Solutions is the engineering and project delivery group providing services which include front-end and detailed engineering, procurement, construction services, and program management primarily in the hydrocarbons and energy transition industries.

KBR is designing and constructing exciting projects at the forefront of the energy transition and traditional energy markets. We work on some of the biggest and most complex energy industry projects around the world and our teams are some of the best and brightest in the industry.

The Mechanical Equipment Group is responsible for the design, specification and purchase order management for wide range of equipment including compressors, gas turbines, pumps, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, metallurgy, HVAC, and mechanical handling.

As part of the overall project team, the Mechanical Equipment Group has been integral to the successful implementation of all of KBR’s Energy projects and has earned a reputation as an industry leader and for execution excellence.

We are looking for the right graduates to work alongside experienced professionals, with the aim to develop you to become the technical advisors or lead engineers of the future. These roles are due to start in 2025.

Engineers working in the Mechanical Equipment Group are often offered opportunities to work abroad and to travel, whether to a fabrication yard, site or to visit vendors. The nature of the work is global.
