What you will do
- Draft press materials to a high standard so little to no amends are required from senior team
- Lead proactive/reactive tactics sharing, discussing and utilising relevant breaking news stories for clients
- Support campaign activity playing a key role in researching and ideating strong ideas
- Identify and share ways to drive better results (training, events, webinars, case studies etc.)
- Contribute to client onboarding, pitching and QBR slides where necessary
- Manage time effectively, ensuring you are able to lead outreach across all clients and hit agreed deadlines
- Educate your peers ensuring PR excellence across the team
- Always go the extra mile, surprising and delighting your clients
Requirements
- You have a minimum of one years’ experience within PR, either in house or agency
- You have a good understanding of PR and the modern media landscape, how this contributes to organic visibility and wider brand performance
- You’re familiar with a range of PR tactics such as product placement, press mailers and reactive newsjacking
- You’re constantly reading the news and enjoy staying on top of trends and breaking stories
- You have strong media contacts, with a proven track record for securing results from a range of PR tactics
- You love writing and have strong verbal communication skills
- You’re highly creative, love coming up with innovative ideas, and aren’t afraid to test and experiment with new ways of working
- You’re highly ambitious and always striving for even better results
- You are proactive, able to identify what needs to be done and communicate effectively to the wider team
- You’re comfortable speaking to clients directly and are passionate about delivering fantastic results
