The role
As a Graduate Operations Analyst at Jones Whyte, you will play a vital role in optimising our day-to-day activities. This role offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you can contribute to our firm's growth and success. You will be surrounded by supportive colleagues who will help you achieve your career aspirations within our Operations Team.
This will be a 12 month fixed-term contract starting as soon as possible.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day operational activities of the firm, collaborating closely with various legal teams.
- Contribute to process optimisation and efficiency improvements across the organisation using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of internal controls to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity within the operations function.
- Analyse workflows and eliminate waste using Lean techniques.
- Attend relevant training and professional development courses to grow your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Recent graduate or final-year student ready to start the program.
- On track to achieve or have obtained a relevant degree.
- Strong communication skills, comfortable engaging with individuals at all levels and building relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to meet key deadlines.
- Self-motivation with a problem-solving mindset and a drive to enhance team productivity.
- Leadership qualities, ambition, and determination.
Desirable but not essential
- An understanding of Lean methodologies and Six Sigma principles
