Our placements last for 12 months where you will be responsible for the commercial aspects of our projects right from conception to design, construction, and completion of projects. You will help deliver projects that are high value and low cost to maximise efficiencies.
What you’ll be doing
- Working with your senior QS you will manage all aspects of commercial and cost management of a project including paying subcontractors, raising notices, and completing cost to completes.
- Ensure that proper records, including final accounts, are kept and maintained so financial information for audits and cost assurance is readily available.
- Develop contract management skills, understanding the New Engineering Contract (NEC) and how change control works.
- Promote our quality, cost, and efficiency strategy to ensure everyone is minimising costs and maximising value.

- You must be studying a full-time undergraduate degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
