Our placements last for 12 months where you will gain valuable experience and develop a number of key skills that will help you to pursue a career in procurement. Our busy Procurement Teams manage a spend of over £85m per year, liaising closely with various internal & external stakeholders to deliver best value solutions.
What you’ll be doing
- Process requisitions to provide sites with a range of materials and subcontract services across the UK.
- Find and request quotations from established and new Suppliers in order to add value and reduce cost.
- Understand construction requirements through a mix of site & supplier visits.
- Produce high-level reports on spend, utilisation and costs
- Learn key negotiation skills and implement them through engaging with various stakeholders to add value.
What we’re looking for
- You must be studying a full-time undergraduate degree in Business, Supply Chain and Procurement or related field.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisation skills
- A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
