Our placements last for 12 months, working across both design and construction teams, to offer the broadest exposure to the industry, working on real-world projects that make a difference in communities. It’s a great chance to get involved with live projects while gaining experience relevant to your degree.
What you’ll be doing
- Assist in the planning, design, and implementation of projects.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, progress reports, and documentation to support project development and execution.
- Assist the Site Manager in the initial site set-up, setting out points and levels and participating in site inspections.
- Liaise with the site team, design team, support services and the supply chain to ensure successful project or milestone completion.
- Contribute to the development of sustainable engineering practices and innovative solutions.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and promote a safe working environment on all projects.
What we’re looking for
- You must be studying a full-time undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering.
- Have a basic understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
- Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
