Across MM and JNB we have over 2,600 employees working together across the UK.

Our placements last for 12 months, working across both design and construction teams, to offer the broadest exposure to the industry, working on real-world projects that make a difference in communities. It’s a great chance to get involved with live projects while gaining experience relevant to your degree.

What you’ll be doing

  • Assist in the planning, design, and implementation of projects.
  • Prepare and review technical drawings, progress reports, and documentation to support project development and execution.
  • Assist the Site Manager in the initial site set-up, setting out points and levels and participating in site inspections.
  • Liaise with the site team, design team, support services and the supply chain to ensure successful project or milestone completion.
  • Contribute to the development of sustainable engineering practices and innovative solutions.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines and promote a safe working environment on all projects.

What we’re looking for

  • You must be studying a full-time undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Have a basic understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
  • Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
