The Energy and Power team is focused in providing a whole system approach, offering end-to-end service to support our clients in energy networks, thermal generation, renewable generation and storage solutions.  We are helping our clients meet the challenges faced in countries and cities across the globe, providing innovative solutions to address the challenges of replacing conventional thermal power plants with renewable generation.

Our Energy and Power team provides a range of services to our transmission and distribution clients. This includes work on transmission system assets, HVDC interconnectors, energy storage systems, and wind farms. 

We are recruiting Graduate Electrical Engineers to join our Electrical Transmission & Distribution team. 

You could gain experience in the following fields: 

  • Conceptual Design  
  • Power Network Design, Power System Analysis & Studies  
  • Load & Demand Forecasting, System Stability Analysis  
  • Substation Site Selection  
  • Substation Design  
  • Ground Resistivity Measurement & Earthing System Design using CDE3D Substation & Switchyard Layout Visualization  
  • Lightning Protection System Design  
  • Overhead & Underground Cable System Design  
  • Interconnector Studies & Design  
  • Transformer & Switchgear Selection & Installation  
  • Options Selection & Evaluation  
  • Value Engineering  
  • HV Cable studies using CYMCAP

Here's what you'll need

  • Be working towards a Degree or Masters level qualification in Electrical Engineering. 
  • A flexible self-starter who is keen to drive your career forward.  
  • Adaptable to change, with a thirst for learning new things.  
  • You must have the permanent right to work in the UK.
