To support our pipeline of future top talent we are now pleased to welcome applications for our 2024 Graduate Programme focusing on the area of Oncology Marketing.

Programme details

The programme is set to start in the summer 2024 and will run for 18 months.

The Graduate Programme offers a unique opportunity for candidates straight out of university to develop their career pathway in the pharmaceutical industry. As a Graduate at Ipsen, you will become an integral member of a Specialty Care UK cross-functional team, supporting the tactical implementation of Ipsen’s product portfolio strategy, making a real contribution in all roles you take on. It is also a great role for the development of technical competencies including analytical skills, communicational skills, and matrix leadership.

The role

As the Marketing Graduate, you will join a high-performing team responsible for executing critical Brand strategy workstreams. Your focus will be on turning data into actionable insights to continually improve our customer experience, drive revenue growth, and stay ahead of the competition. If you thrive in a data-driven environment and are passionate about optimizing business processes, this role is ideal for you. Key activities include:

  • Active member of the Integrated Brand team and take ownership and accountability for tactical projects.
  • Drive effective brand meetings to ensure collaboration of major stakeholders, alignment and execution of plans
  • Co-Development and effective delivery of brands strategy of Oncology
  • Support the development of the Oncology UK Brand plans. Through regular monitoring of projects ensure Return on investment (ROI) on projects.
  • Adapt and execute global campaigns using insights from UK field teams ensuring a long-term vision.
  • Continuous campaign improvement through gathering field data and Account Manager/customer
  • Ensure by collaborating with infield management that Ipsen are a high-powered professional sales organization.
  •  Budget monitoring for responsible projects
  •  Ensure integration between projects. Identify mitigating factors or challenges and act on them.
  • Work with a one team mindset to shape and influence as successful Franchise Plan.
  • Continuously appraise external agencies and assess for cost efficiencies. Negotiate/re-negotiate and/or re-pitch.
  • Effectively engage and communicate across functions to improve best practice and ensure strategic alignment.

Qualifications & experience

You will hold or be on target to achieve a 2:1 or higher degree in a STEM or aligned, or a Marketing subject by September 2024. Furthermore, you will possess a keen interest in pharmaceutical marketing, coupled with a desire to forge a career in the commercial landscape of biopharmaceutical industry.

You will need to be fluent in English and have a maximum of two years’ postgraduate professional experience.
