What we are we looking for

We are looking for an analytical and data driven individual with ESG knowledge to join our global ESG Research team. The successful individual will support our investment teams in delivering on their ESG-related commitments and objectives.

You will be involved in

  • Producing proprietary ESG company and portfolio level research with emphasis on investment relevance
  • Providing ESG research support to Investment Analysts and Portfolio Managers through regular portfolio reviews, by responding to ad-hoc requests, and in support of regulatory commitments
  • Participating in ESG engagements with companies on specific ESG related agenda items
  • Analyzing companies against proprietary research frameworks
  • Contributing to special projects and other team activities
  • Providing any other assistance relating to the above or as reasonably required by the role
  • Supporting external communication to investors and stakeholders

What you can bring

  • Bachelor's level degree or above
  • Investment Management Certificate (IMC) or any other relevant professional qualifications (e.g. CFA ESG Certificate) would be desirable, but is not essential
  • Experience in ESG research and analysis is preferred, but not required
  • Demonstrated interest in ESG issues
  • Knowledge of and desire to work in investment management
  • Prior use of ESG data tools would be beneficial
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, collaboration and influencing skills, and demonstrated leadership skills
