The role

The Digital Marketing Executive will play an integral role in our agency, working closely with the Client Director, Digital Marketing, and the rest of the digital team on an exciting mix of projects spanning across a variety of different clients.

You'll be an all-rounder, developing your full range of digital skills and expertise, to assist with social media, SEO, email marketing, content marketing, client reporting, digital strategy, and a range of other digital marketing tasks.

You will report into to the Digital Marketing Director and work closely alongside the Digital Marketing Senior Executive, under the direction a partner and associate partner

Key tasks and responsibilities

  • Support in implement, management, and optimisation of paid media campaigns across self-serve platforms like Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Snapchat, TikTok, etc.
  • Maintain and optimise client campaigns to maximise those measures of success through data driven decisions.
  • Provide ongoing insight and analysis of performance marketing campaigns, leveraging Google Analytics and Google Ads data
  • Brainstorming/researching targeting for specific campaigns
  • Track operational performance of multiple accounts, ensuring quality work, deadline, and budget adherence
  • Analyse and report data on a daily / weekly / bi-weekly / monthly & ad-hoc basis
  • Support in SEO projects and liaise with external freelancers
  • Draft organic posts for all platforms, working with broader account teams, ensuring best practice for marketing purposes
  • Support in developing campaign creative for paid campaigns
  • Work with influencers across Instagram and TikTok in particular to implement creative campaigns
  • Deploy content through a social media management platform, currently Hootsuite but subject to change
  • Use social listening tools to track conversations, in particular Brandwatch Consumer Research
  • Develop skills as needed, with training where appropriate, to support client technology infrastructures, like Salesforce and Pardot
  • Ad hoc community management across all platforms
  • Work with design team to develop visual assets and edit those assets in Canva, including simple video edits
  • Maintain WIP reports on client accounts and work with the digital team on Notion to track deliverables
  • Attend client meetings and summarise them in actionable status reports
  • Communicate with clients for approvals where necessary, maintaining approval protocols
  • Stay on top of the latest trends and changes in the industry to bring fresh thinking to client work
  • Work with the digital team to cover live events on social channels, often abroad
  • Work with a translations agency to deliver digital content in multiple languages
  • Support on Hudson Sandler’s own digital strategy and implementation

The ideal candidate for this role will have/be

  • Process oriented, with the ability to manage multiple small or medium-size projects simultaneously
  • Be a self-starter, energized by problem-solving, excel in a collaborative environment, and proactively offer suggestions to build, shape, and improve processes
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including exceptional Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Comfortable translating technical information into compelling, accessible content.
  • Strong communications skills, verbal and written.
  • Creative, ambitious, and entrepreneurial with good initiative, strong organisation and attention to detail.
  • A desire to learn and keep up to date with the latest advancements in digital marketing.
