Overview

On our competitively paid internship, you will spend a minimum of eight weeks (depending on location) learning how we serve our customers across some of our key channels, including Digital, Branch and Contact Centres, as well as through our key Products and propositions. You may also gain exposure to other parts of our business, such as Insurance, Risk, Chief Operating Office, amongst others.

What you will do

This internship not only gives you an introduction to what we do, but it will also help you to understand how we work with our customers on exciting and innovative projects. You will get a taste of our fast-paced environment, and have the chance to work on projects affecting real business and community needs. Whether you are working on the frontline serving our customers, or within a head office environment, you will work with your team to solve a variety of problems for our clients and customers. In your role, you will have the opportunity to explore where your skills fit best and how to apply them to an international operation.

Application Process:

  • Based on your current results you must be on track to receive a minimum of a 2:1 degree classification/ 3.2 GPA or higher or overseas equivalent to this
  • You must have obtained at least 300 UCAS* points pre September 2017 and 120 post September 2017 in accordance with UCAS tariff changes across your top three A2 Levels or equivalent, excluding General Studies (AS Levels and GCSE are not considered). Or if there were mitigating circumstances that prevented this, you must provide evidence of these.
  • You must be in your Penultimate Year of undergraduate Study. Expected Graduation Year 2022.
  • The location for this role is UK wide, therefore, you must be able to commit to being nationally mobile and be available to undertake the travel required for this role.
  • You can only apply for one HSBC Graduate Programme each year
  • By the time of starting employment, successful candidates must have permission to work in the UK for the entirety of the program.
  • You will be fluent in English and be legally permitted to work in the UK.
