Over the course of eight to ten weeks, you’ll get to
- Work with supportive and diverse teams on a real business problem that involves developing, maintaining and optimising HSBC’s technological infrastructure
- Draw on the knowledge and experience of seasoned Engineers to help you prepare for future opportunities
- After the internship you’ll have the possibility to transition to our two-year Engineering Graduate Programme

What you'll learn
We’ll help you develop the technical skills most relevant to your role. We’ll also provide plenty of opportunities to advance your non-technical skills, like communication and collaboration, that will help you move your career forward successfully.
During your time on the programme, you’ll
- Discover what it takes to become a skilled engineer as you learn the basics of programming, data infrastructures, debugging and code readability
- Gain experience in release management, UI implementation, object-oriented programming, responsive design and cross-platform development
- Have plenty of other opportunities to develop your skills, and people to support you along the way, ensuring that you’re well prepared for the future
