The HP EMEA Communications team are looking for two motivated individuals with a passion for technology, strong cognitive abilities for reporting and the creativity to help sculpt stories, campaigns and events that amaze.

This is a unique opportunity offering two interns’ insightful knowledge into the communications sector, experience in working within an international team in a fast-paced industry and to take ownership of pan-EMEA projects.

Key tasks include developing coverage reports to showcase the communication team activities to HP stakeholders, support the EMEA regional team in the day-to-day running of communication priorities, collaborating with external agencies in coordinating events, reports and press releases, whilst also searching for opportunities to meet the business unit’s priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse and produce EMEA and product specific coverage reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Increase internally the profile of HP in the news through creating reports that displays relevant articles about HP.
  • Assist with campaigns and events, including logistics support, briefing books and social media campaigns.
  • Attend and support UK influencer and press events as needed (logistics, badging, distribution press kits etc).
  • Support pan-EMEA managers with aligning Tier 2 & 3 markets with communication priorities.
  • Create social media plans for pan-EMEA events, campaigns or product launches.
  • Produce LinkedIn posts that can be leveraged across EMEA markets.
  • Assist in the management of HP Media Relations address for EMEA markets.

  • Understanding of LinkedIn and Twitter for communications purposes.
  • Strong PC skills – Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word.

Education

  • Currently in full-time education.
  • On track in achieving a 2:1 in your degree.
  • Desirable degrees focused around Business, Psychology, English, Marketing or Communications, however this is not essential.
