Join our Grid Automation Team as an Graduate Service Engineer and contribute to the advancement of power grid technology and make a difference in the world of power grids.

This exciting opportunity will be based in Stone, Staffordshire, you'll be part of a dynamic and supportive engineering team dedicated to providing innovative solutions to our customers.

This customer service role requires a proactive attitude and a willingness to engage in service repairs, commissioning, and maintenance communication teams.

Our team consists of eight engineers, selected for their exceptional skills and training so this opportunity will offer great exposure to the top talent in the business.

Responsibilities

  • Offer technical advice to customers on the effective and efficient use of our products and equipment.
  • Commission, install, and test our products and equipment to ensure they adhere to the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Address and resolve complex issues that may emerge during the implementation or operation of our products and equipment.
  • Investigate and suggest new product equipment upgrades to boost customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Build and sustain strong customer relationships by understanding their needs and expectations, thereby securing future business opportunities.
  • Work in conjunction with the Power Grids Grid Automation Engineering Department to support the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of SCADA systems, communication networks, and protection systems.

Background
