The role
The Channel Sales Support Intern will play a crucial role in the UK&I Partner & Ecosystem team. They will support the Partner & Ecosystem Leaders as well as the Partner Business Managers, Distribution Business Managers and Sales Specialists. They will have their finger on the pulse of the business and be able to help the team and partners be more effective. It’s a great opportunity for someone wanting a fast start in channel business. You will learn every component of the IT Channel working with all partners and distribution.
What you'll do
- Support the day-to-day operations of the Partner & Ecosystem team across UK&I.
- Develop and manage reporting for planning and tracking, utilising tools such as PowerBI and SFDC, including completing data analysis & trend identification.
- Build and update a fortnightly forecast pack & support the forecasting process with relevant Sales Manager.
- Create documentation, mainly presentations, to support meetings such as Quarterly Business Reviews.
- Internal and external meetings with partner/distribution in HPE or their offices.
- Run activities & represent HPE at partner/distribution events such as Sales Floor Days & Enablement sessions.
- Support in events organisation & actively participate.
- Be a Champion for partner/distribution queries on HPE tooling & processes.
- Development of communication vehicles for internal & external audiences such as the creation of newsletters & email communications.
- Management of various programmes, including incentives, & governance activities.
- Ad-hoc projects encompassing other areas of the business such as marketing, communications, operations & wider HPE sales.

What you’ll need
- Self-motivation to work independently, be confident in your resourcefulness, but aware when you need to ask for help & guidance
- Good time management & organisational skills while being structured in your approach
- Adaptable in working in a fast-paced sales environment, working towards tight deadlines & prioritising workload
- Ability to effectively & confidently communicate with internal stakeholders & external partners/distributors on the phone, email and face to face.
- Be prepared to travel across the UK & Ireland when necessary
- Basic experience of the Microsoft Office suite including Outlook and Excel
- A team orientated, collaborative mindset & proactivity to embrace opportunities
- Accuracy & attention to detail in the completion of your work.
