Our vacation scheme gives you a taste of what it’s like to work at HCR. You’ll meet partners, solicitors and trainees from a range of service teams giving you an immersive and engaging hands on experience of life as a lawyer at HCR. You will be supervised by an appropriate person and will have the chance to be involved in interesting work which gives you the opportunity to showcase your talent.
What you'll do
During the vacation scheme you will to take part in:
- a virtual mock trial with your fellow vacation scheme participants, judged by a Partner of the firm;
- networking opportunities with partners, solicitors, trainees and other representatives from across the firm;
- a recruitment skills and Q&A session with our Early Careers team to talk about qualification routes and what we look for in recruiting junior talent; and
- work shadowing with trainees, paralegals and qualified lawyers in up to 4 separate practice areas.
The Vacation Scheme which will be held on 13th to 17th June 2022.
Please note that you may be required to attend both our Thames Valley and our London office during this week; please make sure that you can attend the office location. If you have a preference, please let us know and we will accommodate requests where possible.
