Join our Haleon R&D Regulatory Affairs Team in Weybridge or London for an exciting 12-month industrial placement, starting in July 2025 

At a glance

Regulatory Affairs involves devising strategies with the most appropriate classification for a consumer healthcare product to reach the market, as well as preparing dossiers for submission to regulatory agencies globally and then once launched, maintaining the dossiers post licence, and filing applications to make changes to the licence where necessary.  You will have the opportunity to work directly with and learn from experienced Regulatory teams who will support you to reach your full potential. You will learn about our trusted global brands, across Oral Health, Pain Relief, Respiratory, Skin Health, Gastrointestinal Health, and Wellness, on brands such as Panadol, Sensodyne, Aquafresh, Parodontax, Beechams and Centrum. Depending on the role you will have the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience across a variety of regulatory activities for Haleon products and product classifications, such as Cosmetics, Medical Devices, Medicines, Food Supplements and Naturals and providing regulatory support to assigned products/projects.

  • GB & Ireland Regulatory Affairs (Local Market) 
  • Future Horizon Science & Technology - Regulatory Affairs 

Note:  GB & Ireland Regulatory Affairs role is based at London Bankside, all other roles are based at Weybridge St Georges. 

Education requirements

You must currently be studying for your Undergraduate Degree in: A science related subject.  

If you are studying for your Undergraduate Degree you must be in your 2nd year of study (England) or 3rd year of study (Scotland) and seeking to complete a year in industry in partnership with your university. Please ensure the role is suitable for your placement year.

Application process

The application process has a total of up to 4 stages: 

  • Application – information will be required regarding your education and Right to Work. 
  • Online Assessment – you will be asked to complete a behavioural based online assessment/interview. 
  • Telephone Screening – if selected you will be contacted by an Early Talent Partner to discuss your application and motivation for joining Haleon. 
  • Interview – if selected you will be invited to attend a virtual interview ; The interview will consist of a competency-based interview and may also include case study/technical exercise. 
  • Offer – candidates will receive an outcome within 2 weeks following interview. 

Interviews will be held in November/December 2024
