Are you a student who is in their 2nd year at University looking to kick start your career in Process Engineering? The Process Engineer team support the New Product Development department in scaling up products that were developed in our Weybridge laboratory. Scaling-up processes from lab scale will allow Haleon to launch New Products in a large scale, to factories around the world, to attend the increasing demand of Oral Health Products. You will have the opportunity to work directly with and learn from an experienced team who will support you to reach your full potential.
Key responsibilities
You will support the team delivering an array of activities, including -but not restricted to- developing:
- Scale-up Processes from lab to pilot plant
- Scale-up Processes from pilot plant to full manufacturing scale
- Raw Material Risk Assessments
- Process Risk Assessment
- Technical Risk Assessment
- Batch Manufacturing Instructions
- Design of Experiment
- Equipment Validation & Cleaning Validation
Education requirements
You must be currently studying for your Undergraduate Degree in: Chemical or related Engineering Degree.
If you are studying for your Undergraduate Degree a minimum requirement is for you to be in your 2nd year of study (England) or 3rd year of study (Scotland) and seeking to complete a year in industry in partnership with your university. Please ensure the role is suitable for your placement year.

Application process
The application process has a total of up to 4 stages:
- Application – information will be required regarding your education and Right to Work.
- Online Assessment – you will be asked to complete a behaviour based online assessment/interview.
- Telephone Screening – if selected you will be contacted by an Early Talent Partner to discuss your application and motivation for joining Haleon.
- Interview – if selected you will be invited to attend a virtual interview ; The interview will consist of a competency-based interview and may include a case study/technical exercise.
- Offer – candidates will receive an outcome within 2 weeks following interview.
