Are you a student who is in their 2nd year at University looking to kick start your career in Learning & Development or HR?  You will have the opportunity to work directly with and learn from an experienced team who will support you to reach your full potential. 

Key responsibilities

  • Programme support: Creation and maintenance of new and existing global R&D capability programmes and initiatives 
  • Promotional activities: Motivate and support global R&D colleagues by amplifying visibility, supporting access & navigation, creating & cascading engaging promotional material using a variety of communication channels 
  • Culture and engagement: Generate, facilitate and support events to promote curiosity and individual agency in learning and career development, including webinars, podcasts, networking, and marketing campaigns.  
  • Data analysis and governance: maintain data and information to provide meaningful analysis on key people and performance metrics. 
  • Working across business teams and R&D functional areas supporting key initiatives such as transformational capability programmes.

So, you will be someone who has

  • Entrepreneurial and agile mindset, curious and flexible to switch attention to where needed.

  • Analytical skills to navigate data with strong IT skills. 

Education requirements

You must currently be studying for your Undergraduate Degree in: A Business or Management discipline preferred, Science-based degrees also welcome. 

If you are studying for your Undergraduate Degree you must be in your 2nd year of study (England) or 3rd year of study (Scotland) and seeking to complete a year in industry in partnership with your university. Please ensure the role is suitable for your placement year.

Application process

The application process has a total of up to 4 stages: 

  • Application – information will be required regarding your education and Right to Work. 
  • Online Assessment – you will be asked to complete a behavioural based online assessment/interview. 
  • Telephone Screening – if selected you will be contacted by an Early Talent Partner to discuss your application and motivation for joining Haleon. 
  • Interview – if selected you will be invited to attend a virtual interview ; The interview will consist of a competency-based interview and may includea case study/technical exercise. 
  • Offer – candidates will receive an outcome within 2 weeks following interview. 

Interviews will be held in November/December 2024
