A career in Quality where none of us stand still
At Maidenhead, we proudly manufacture several well-known brands including Sensodyne, Aquafresh and Corsodyl. Producing 5m units of product a week, we supply to over 100 markets around the world. Ensuring that our consumers get the product when they need it most, at the right quality and the right price.
The Quality Control team are responsible for testing all raw material, intermediate and packed finished stock manufactured at the maidenhead site. From silica and glycerol to packing Aquafresh and Corsodyl – the quality control team see it all. The team’s function within the site is:
- To ensure that the materials delivered meet the required standard and will do the job they’ve been purchased for.
- To ensure that end to end manufacture has been completed correctly
- To assist with site investigations to narrow down the source of any error in manufacturing
What will your individual contribution at Haleon be?
As part of the Quality Control Team you will get to:
- Work in an industrial paced laboratory
- Learn how to integrate with an established, fast paced team
- Understand the importance of communication within the team and departmentally across site.
- Undertake training in basic laboratory techniques, as well as GMP and GLP standards
- Learn how to use resource planning software for management of primary data

Education required
- A-Levels/Equivalent diploma in relevant scientific disciplines (Chemistry, Biology, Maths).
- In process of undertaking a degree in a related scientific field, such as: Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biomedical/Biological Sciences
