Join our Global Quality Service Team at Haleon based in London for a 12-month industrial placement, starting in July 2025.

Are you a second / third year university student ready to launch your career in quality and governance? This 12-month industrial placement is your opportunity to work alongside an experienced team that will support and guide you throughout your placement.

Our Global Quality Service Team plays a crucial role in supporting Haleon’s quality goals and contributing to business operations at a corporate level. You’ll be involved in creating and implementing Quality Service plans, and identifying key areas of value for what matters most.

This role is dynamic and global in scope, offering a unique chance to explore, develop, and recommend new solutions and process improvements. You'll collaborate with various functions both within and outside the Quality team, supporting our data literacy capability journey for enhanced decision-making and continuous improvement. As part of our team, you’ll focus on advancing our Digital and Data transformation journey for quality. You’ll play a key role in making our processes better and more efficient, ensuring that quality remains at the heart of our operations.

Throughout your placement, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Assist with the Quality services roadmap and related programmes, including Lab of the Future and Haleon Quality Services, and help enhance data management capabilities.
  • Analyse complex problems from various perspectives, develop recommendations for quality process and system improvements, and leverage data and analytics to drive better performance.
  • Support the Value and Performance Quality Lead and Business Owners in identifying value, conducting impact assessments, and monitoring benefit realisation.
  • Help set up and refine quality data dashboards and KPI reporting, aiming to reduce manual workload and improve efficiency.

Education requirements

  • We welcome applicants from all degree disciplines, however, degrees in however, degrees in Communications, Management studies, Psychology, or Design are particularly advantageous for this placement.
  • If you are studying for your Undergraduate Degree, you must be in your 2nd year of study (England) or 3rd year of study (Scotland) and seeking to complete a year in industry in partnership with your university. 
  • Please ensure this role is suitable for your placement year.

Application process

The application process has a total of up to 4 stages:

  • Application: You will need to provide information about your education and Right to Work status.
  • Online Assessment: You will complete an online assessment that includes an interview.
  • Recruiter Screening: If selected, an Early Talent Partner will contact you to discuss your application and motivation for joining Haleon.
  • Interview: If shortlisted, you will be invited to a virtual interview, which will include a competency-based interview and may involve a case study or technical exercise.
  • Offer: Candidates will be notified of the outcome within two weeks of the interview

Interviews will be held in November/December 2024
