Opportunity at a glance

As a Global Expert Marketing Industrial Placement Student, you’ll collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to create compelling content and communications across a multi-channel ecosystem. Your contributions will help elevate our presence and credibility in the healthcare profession while supporting the activation of our flagship Haleon Wellness brand, Centrum. This is your chance to dive into the heart of marketing, gain insights into brand, digital, and corporate marketing, and expand your network within Haleon.

Some of your key responsibilities may include

  • Campaign Design and Delivery: Assist in creating engaging brand campaigns through digital and face-to-face channels. This includes drafting creative briefs for agencies, brainstorming ideas, and writing copy for emails and social media posts.
  • Analyse and Optimise: Use Haleon’s digital tools to review and analyse campaign results, extracting key learnings and providing actionable recommendations.
  • Presentation Development: Create presentations for both internal and external audiences, such as summarising campaign results, communicating creative ideas or crafting scientific narratives.
  • Content Management: Scientifically reference and upload content to our medical approval platform (training will be provided).
  • Project Support: Help manage projects by keeping them on track and documenting clear action reports summarising agreements and next steps.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with teams in Consumer Marketing, Research & Development, Consumer Science, Regulatory/Medical, and the wider Global Expert Marketing Team.
  • Metrics: Defining performance metrics for projects and content plans to ensure objectives are met, analysing these metrics for continuous improvement, and evaluating Haleon’s performance in comparison to competitors.

Education requirements

  • We welcome applications from all degree disciplines and candidates who are creative problem-solvers with a growth mindset, proactive initiative, and strong communication skills.
  • If you are studying for your Undergraduate Degree, you must be in your 2nd year of study (England) or 3rd year of study (Scotland) and seeking to complete a year in industry in partnership with your university.  Please ensure the role is suitable for your placement year.

Role start date: July 2025

Application process

The application process has a total of up to 4 stages:

  • Application: You will need to provide information about your education and Right to Work status.
  • Online Assessment: You will complete an online assessment that includes an interview.
  • Recruiter Screening: If selected, an Early Talent Partner will contact you to discuss your application and motivation for joining Haleon.
  • Interview: If shortlisted, you will be invited to a virtual interview, which will include a competency-based interview and a case study or technical exercise.
  • Offer: Candidates will be notified of the outcome within two weeks of the interview

Interviews will be held in November/December 2024
