Finance Industrial Placement
Transfer Pricing Industrial Placement Student
- Involvement in ad hoc projects and queries
- Analysis financial results of the entities and comparing these to our transfer pricing policies
- Reviewing Trade Pricing Documentation for each entity
Tax Reporting & Compliance Industrial Placement Student
- Support with day to day Tax compliance queries requiring interaction with external tax and statistics compliance providers, global tax teams and wider Finance
- Provide support to the Tax function for control documentation and updates
- Analyzing of ERP system data to ensure correct tax treatment
- Review and assessment of the transactions within the Haleon ERP system
- Actively liaise with Tax Service customers on exceptional issues that require significant updates or resolution and ensure that timely updates are provided and the necessary visibility is shared with to all stakeholders
Commercial Finance Industrial Placement
- Working on month end close, journals & reconciliations
- Daily Sales reporting, weekly forecasting & insights
- Producing ECommerce channel P&L reporting & insights
- Completing Net Revenue analysis and evaluation
- Partnering with the GB & Ireland Sales & Net Revenue Management teams as well as working with more broadly with stakeholders at different levels across the business
Education requirements
This opportunity is open to all degree disciplines however would naturally suit those intending to pursue a career in Accounting, Finance or Audit.
If you are studying for your Undergraduate Degree you must be in your 2nd year of study (England) or 3rd year of study (Scotland) and seeking to complete a year in industry in partnership with your university. Please ensure the role is suitable for your placement year.

Application process
The application process has a total of up to 4 stages:
- Application – information will be required regarding your education and Right to Work.
- Online Assessment – you will be asked to complete an online behaviour based assessment/interview.
- Telephone Screening – if selected you will be contacted by an Early Talent Partner to discuss your application and motivation for joining Haleon.
- Interview – if selected you will be invited to attend a virtual interview ; The interview will consist of a competency-based interview and may include a case study/technical exercise.
- Offer – candidates will receive an outcome within 2 weeks following interview.
Interviews will be held in November/December 2024
