Are you a student at University looking to kick start your career in DEI? Our Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Team is responsible for driving DE&I throughout the organisation and business partnering with key stakeholders across the business units and regions who are accountable for embedding DE&I at a local level. In this role, you will be part of the Haleon Global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Team to further a culture of inclusion, equity and belonging, supporting with embedding the DEI strategy. You will have the opportunity to work directly with and learn from an experienced team who will support you to reach your full potential.
Key responsibilities
You will have a chance to support with various projects that help to strength DE&I across the organisation. You will be pivotal in the day-to-day DE&I operational activities.
- Work with teams in the Talent Centre of Excellence and external content partners to develop new DE&I initiatives and projects
- Work with our Employee Resource Group to better Haleon’s DEI processes and implement best practices.
- Support with improving our existing internal DEI communication strategy, so that we keep our employees better and regularly informed of DE&I updates.
- Work with various stakeholders across the business, such as Health and Wellbeing, Talent Acquisition, Marketing and Research and Development to gather feedback to understand how we can better support the business with embedding DE&I locally.
The role will give you a rare opportunity to see and contribute to embedding and delivering DE&I initiatives at a corporate level.
What will your individual contribution at Haleon be?
- Maintaining and creating new DEI assets to support the business
- Bring your creative thinking on how we can better engage with employees across the organisation to keep them informed of DE&I
- Keep up to date with key DEI developments in the industry and best practices
- Maintain and update DE&I calendar of events including Health and Wellbeing, ERGs, Health Inclusivity
Education requirements
Currently studying for an Undergraduate Degree
If you are studying for your Undergraduate Degree you must be in your 2nd year of study (England) or 3rd year of study (Scotland) and seeking to complete a year in industry in partnership with your university. Please ensure the role is suitable for your placement year.

Application process
The application process has a total of up to 4 stages:
- Application – information will be required regarding your education and Right to Work.
- Online Assessment – you will be asked to complete a behaviour based online behavioural based interview and games.
- Telephone Screening – if selected you will be contacted by an Early Talent Partner to discuss your application and motivation for joining Haleon.
- Interview – if selected you will be invited to attend a virtual interview ; The interview will consist of a competency-based interview and may include a case study/technical exercise.
- Offer – candidates will receive an outcome within 2 weeks following interview.
