A Junior Account Executive is an entry-level role that assists the development of PR, social media and content marketing campaigns across our client portfolio. The role is multi-faceted and will include creative writing, media relations, project management, research, reporting, client service and administration. In the role you will be trained as a modern PR practitioner; learning how to build a PR campaign, develop creative assets that will generate coverage in traditional media and engaging content for social media channels, manage financial processes and learn the basics of client service.
Key responsibilities
- Develop knowledge of social media and influencer marketing.
- Write informatively for diverse audiences and platforms.
- Build and maintain media and influencer lists.
- Generate positive media coverage and manage influencer relationships.
- Provide PR and social media advice to clients.
- Organize and attend client events
- Establish positive client relationships
- Manage day-to-day account administration
- Monitor deadlines and traffic work to production
Essential skills
- An understanding of PR, media relations, and new channels/technologies
- Curiosity with an interest in storytelling
- Strong writing skills
- Good communication and time-management skills
Required knowledge and experience
- Some work experience in the social media, PR or content marketing area.
- Demonstrable interest in storytelling either through a passion for the media, writing or content creation
