What will you be doing?
As a Graduate Planner you will report to the Planner/Senior Planner and assist in the development of detailed construction programmes and methodology. You will be required to provide planning support to a number ongoing of ‘live’ projects, as experience is gained this will develop into the provision of a planning support during the tendering stage.
You will:
- Support development of detailed construction programmes, taking into account experience from similar schemes and information provided by the supply chain.
- Help develop pre-construction programmes linked to the construction programme and taking into account design and procurement.
- Support with producing high quality logistic and sequencing diagrams produced in liaison with the project team.
- Be able to produce clear and concise statements describing the programme strategy and construction methodology.
- Be able to assist in the development of plant and scaffold requirements and schedules.
- Continually visit and monitor current projects to provide planning support and ensure accurate progress reporting.
This role is available for a September 2025 start, with the possibility of an earlier start date to suit yourself and the business.
As part of the graduate programme you will be expected to work in and around your preferred location from those advertised, with a high likelihood of travelling to other projects and locations around the UK in the future. This role is site based, with travel.

Our development programme lasts for two years and runs in parallel to your permanent job, covering seven modules that include our much-enjoyed teambuilding event in the great outdoors, which is designed to bring out your interpersonal and leadership skills, and complement the hands-on technical experience that you will gain in your role.
If you decide to work towards professional qualifications, we will fully fund your qualification and pair you with a dedicated mentor. Our programme concludes with a celebration of you and a promotion within your role to start the next stage of your career.
- A starting salary of £29,500

What are we looking for?
We invite applications from graduates who are passionate about the industry and have achieved, or are on track to achieve a Bachelors or Masters degree in Quantity Surveying / Construction Project Management / Engineering (or similar) prior to September 2025.
A full UK driving license (or currently learning) and the eligibility to live and work in the UK without restriction is essential for this role.
