We have a fantastic career development opportunity for a Document Controller to join the team in Tuddenham on our A47 project. As Document Controller, you will provide support to the project team by ensuring that project design information / documentation is captured, stored, managed and maintained in an organised and methodical manner.
Full support and training will be provided by the wider Information Management team.
Please note that flexible / hybrid working is on offer with this position however, there would be a requirement to have a presence on site 2-3 days per week.
Key responsibilities
- Support Design Manager to ensure design information is controlled, reviewed, and issued on time.
- Ensure adherence to project information management protocols, standards, and procedures.
- Guarantee documents meet quality, confidentiality, and compliance requirements per company and industry standards.
- Provide feedback on project CDE to ensure consistent document control procedures.
- Serve as point of contact for document control, liaising with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Maintain records, monitor workflow, identify delays, and generate reports.
About you
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with site and wider teams.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize workloads to meet deadlines under pressure.
- Computer literate with the ability to quickly learn new software and technology tools, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and document control software (prior knowledge of ViewPoint or Projects is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided).
- Adheres to Health and Safety responsibilities, company policies, and relevant Information Management Standards.
