We are seeking a dedicated Trainee Casualty Claims Adjuster to join our dynamic team in our Tamworth office. In this role, you will play a crucial part in investigating insurance claims and determining the extent of liability on behalf of our clients. Your expertise will help us deliver exceptional service and maintain our reputation for excellence.

How you'll make an impact
- Conduct liability enquiries using various methods such as phone, correspondence, and field visits, in line with the Adjuster’s Manual
- Assess and evaluate claims by gathering relevant evidence and adjusting reserves according to our realistic reserving philosophy
- Clearly articulate decisions on liability and negotiate settlements within your authority level
- Provide prompt, courteous, and clear responses to all written and phone enquiries
- Regularly review claims using our diary system to ensure accurate reserves and timely closure
- Foster strong relationships with clients by delivering friendly and efficient service
- Collaborate with and manage solicitors to ensure cases are handled effectively
About you
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and logically
- Strong customer service skills to ensure a positive experience throughout the claims process
- Strong presentation skills, with the confidence to prepare and present claims effectively
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, carriers, and brokers through active listening and adherence to their priorities and service instructions
- Empathy and composure when handling sensitive customer interactions
- Willingness to learn and progress in the field of claims handling
- GCSEs or equivalent, including English and Maths
