The role
We operate a 12-month (September 2024 - August 2025) student placement programme within our Procurement Team. This is an exciting opportunity where you will work with highly skilled and experienced manufacturing and operations professionals and graduates who you can learn and develop with.
The role is fast-paced, and a great way to learn how to work with many different departments and gain confidence in communication. Many of those who complete a placement year with us have been successful in obtaining graduate roles on completion of their degree.
To be eligible for an industrial placement with us you should be working towards a degree in a business-based subject. An understanding of procurement would be advantageous but not essential.
Based in Kidlington, Oxfordshire with some activities required at our headquarters in Grove, Oxfordshire.
Responsibilities
During the placement you will take on responsibilities such as:
- Liaising with suppliers to procure parts
- Developing and implementing new processes and procedures
- Communicating internally with different departments
- Working with your team to deliver projects to a high standard and on the correct timeline
