By joining the 2023 Expedia Group Graduate Program (EGGP) as a Finance Analyst you’ll complete three 12-month rotations to give you exposure to some of the many facets of our travel ecosystem. While you will be a full-time employee throughout the program, you’ll also benefit from dedicated professional and personal development opportunities during your rotations to help you identify what excites you the most about your career future. You will be aligned with a permanent role after the conclusion of EGGP in a role we call Destination Role.

EGGP Overview

• Team Rotations: three 12-month rotations (in the same office, within the same job profile) to build knowledge of our business, across various Expedia Group divisions. Contribute to meaningful work that makes a positive impact on travel, all while advancing your career
• Destination Role: after completing rotations in the program, align with your permanent Destination Role with one team aligned to your skills, interests, and position availability
• Onboarding: first week onboarding with our Early Careers team in your local office including introduction to Expedia Group and best business practices, essential new hire training, laptop set up, meeting your graduate cohort, manager, and navigator
• Launchpad (Training): in-depth, role-specific two weeks of skills learning in a hub location (Seattle/London/Gurgaon) to help set you up for success in the program
• Learning Series: continued learning throughout your program to build technical and professional skills
• Leadership Series: opportunities to directly ask questions and learn about the career journeys of our leaders during exclusive EGGP-only Q&A events
• Social Events and Networking: build your network with other participants in the program during regular socials and join our Inclusion Business Groups
• Support Network: mentorship from a dedicated structure of managers and navigators (buddies) as well as the Early Careers and Learning & Development teams; access to Expedia Group mentoring programs

What You’ll Do

Our Finance Analyst Graduates work on impactful projects which support the overall Expedia Group (EG) Finance vision. This role will span Financial Planning &Analysis (FP&A), Commercial Finance, Controllership, and Tax, and more. The work will cover core elements of reporting, analysis and forecasting, as well as compliance and commercial business modelling, across EG divisions. You will have the opportunity to learn from peers across all levels and to collaborate with senior stakeholders to help drive the business forward as well as:

• Work on exciting value-adding tasks and opportunities that helps drive our finance vision
• Analyze data for trends and insights, to inform better decision-making
• Partner with our Finance & Analytics teams to develop and share business understanding and build future outlooks
• Build business cases or investment proposals to help support growth
• Engage with Commercial, Strategic and Finance leaders across EG

• Must be available to start on August 21st, 2023
• Must be graduating in 2023 with a Bachelor’s degree focused on Financial, Numerical or Analytical competencies, or Business-related subject (open to all degree specialisations)
• Must have no more than 2 years' professional experience
• Must be willing to relocate to city of job location if outside commuting distance
• Helpful to show a willingness to learn across a range of financial disciplines and a curiosity when working through tasks during each rotations
• Helpful to have effective communication skills and the ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders (e.g., internal, external, technical, non-technical people)
• Helpful that you are comfortable unpacking complex data to identify core performance drivers and pay great attention to detail
• Helpful to have a data-driven mindset when problem solving and making decisions to benefit our teams and customers
• Helpful to have a positive attitude towards change and is at ease if needed to adapt
