Our summer internship is a 7-weeks programme designed to provide the experience and skills you need in your studies and future career. Our UK internship will begin on 23 June and ends on 8 August 2025.

The position

Safety is our first priority and working in Safety Security and Sustainability means being part of a highly skilled and professional global network at Equinor.   • Contributing to technology development, digitalization and innovation

We are looking for summer interns who are collaborators, eager to learn and have an analytical mindset with a strong attention to detail.

About you

For this position we are looking for those with:

  • Currently studying for Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a strong academic record within a wide range of relevant areas such as leadership, technical, social, economic, safety, energy, process, sustainability, chemical, sustainability, risk, environmental, technology, digitalization, innovation, petroleum, renewables, marine, biological, legal, working environment, communication, psychology etc.
  • Fluent in English.
  • No more than three years of relevant full-time work experience.
  • Have completed at least two years of higher education before the internship programme starts (23 June 2025).
  • Have at least one year of higher education left after the internship programme ends (8 August 2025).
  • The interns need to be located in the country where the internship takes place during its entire duration. Equinor does not support any relocation for our summer interns.
  • Please note that Equinor does not support, or sponsor work or visa permits for internship applications. Candidates must have the necessary work permit/visa for the UK. The work permits/visas must be valid at the point of application and for the duration of the internship.   • Extracurricular activities and/or voluntary work are an advantage.
