Working collaboratively with a highly respected academic team and an internationally recognized manufacturer of bespoke textile products, the KTP Associate will work to identify opportunities across Lantex’s entire value chain to drive productivity improvements, improve sales, and production capacity.
About the Role
This role offers an exciting opportunity to embed transformative, data-driven, change in Lantex’s core operational processes, working practices and culture, to drive their medium strategic growth objectives. A key aspect of the projects is to drive digitalization, transitioning the business from manual to automated performance management operations.
You will hold a suitable academic qualification in a relevant business management, operational management, or logistics field. You will have skills to analyse business performance data, examine business processes, and identify challenges and opportunities. You must also be able to manipulate data, interpret insights from raw data and translate findings into business relevant reports and assets. Strong written and interpersonal skills are vital for being able to work with a wide range of stakeholders from different teams on the project.
In this role, you will also need strong interpersonal skills, to effectively leverage information and resources, present insights and recommendations, and support changing processes and practices in a number of business functions.
As part of the project, KTP Associates also benefit from a generous training and development budget, a KTP management training course, and the opportunity to contribute to academic research outputs.
Our Company Partner
Since 1918 Lantex has built a solid reputation in the manufacturing of bespoke textile products and piece goods. They specialize in supplying manufactured or printed wholesale textiles products for the household textiles market, to clients who range from small artisan designers to high-end retail outlets.
A number of their household products satisfy the applicable essential health and safety requirements of EU PPE Regulations, which gives Lantex an important USP in their market.
Lantex work with both UK based and international suppliers for their raw materials, which are manufactured and finished from their purpose-built facility in East Lancashire's traditional cotton and textile manufacturing heartland.
Lantex's medium term strategy for growth is based upon driving up production capacity and demand generation, through achieving digitally driven productivity improvements across the business.
This KTP will give Lantex significant new capabilities in business analysis and process re-engineering, capitalizing on new data management systems to improve decision-making at both operational and strategic levels. To ensure effective delivery of the project, this post will be based full-time at the premises of Lantex in Accrington, Lancashire.
About You
As Business Analyst (KTP Associate) you will:
- Be a self-starter who can work independently as well as part of a team.
- Have excellent attention to detail and be able to work adaptively and flexibly.
- Have good skills in communication and organisation.
