Day to day duties
- Working within the Quality Team to understand how the QMS (Quality Management System) for controlled documents is used, maintained and most importantly controlled.
- Learning to conduct process audits of key electronic manufacturing areas ensuring all standards are being met and followed.
- Using Quality tools and standards to deliver assurance at top tier standard electronics manufacturing plant.
- Carrying out under guidance Quality investigations, their root causes, resolve, prevention and assurance to the customer.
- Collecting metrics relating to Quality and the department, understanding how they are analysed and how they are used to monitor the performance of the products we build and our department.
- Shadowing our Quality Test Technicians- Understanding how Electronics hardware testing is done and fault finding down to component level is undertaken.
- Writing up quality reports using tools and methodology learnt during the training. "
